Sifrei Devarim · Chapter 88

‹›
  1. 1

    Pisqa’ 88170H:139; JN1:240.
    1. “From among the gods of the peoples who are around you,
both those near to you and those distant” (Dt.13:8)—
from the behavior of those near
you know what those distant are like.

  2. 2

“From the corner of the Land to the corner of the Land” (Dt.13:8)—
this refers to the sun and the moon,
which proceed from one end of the world to the other end
[as do those who serve them].
