At this time Adonoy will expand our territory

  189. 189

enabling us to increase and multiply.

  190. 190

From the destruction of the two temples

  191. 191

He will resurrect us and build the third Temple,

  192. 192

and all those who are before You today

  193. 193

    shall remain amongst the living.

  194. 194

    Almighty! King!

  195. 195

Who sits on the throne of mercy,

  196. 196

    governs with kindness

  197. 197

forgives the iniquities of His people.

  198. 198

He removes their sins one by one,

  199. 199

    increasing forgiveness to sinners,

  200. 200

    and pardon to transgressors.

  201. 201

    Acting righteously

  202. 202

    עִם כָּל בָּשָׂר וָרֽוּחַ.

    with all who are of flesh and spirit;

  203. 203

    not according to their wickedness

  204. 204

    does He repay them.

  205. 205

    Almighty!

  206. 206

    You instructed us to recite

  207. 207

    שְׁלשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה.

    the thirteen Divine attributes;

  208. 208

    remember unto us this day

  209. 209

the covenant of thirteen Divine attributes,

  210. 210

    as You made them known

  211. 211

to the humble Moses of old,

  212. 212

    as it is written,

  213. 213

“And Adonoy descended in the cloud,

  214. 214

    and stood with him there,

  215. 215

    and proclaimed the Name, Adonoy.

  216. 216

    Congregation and Chazzan:

  217. 217

And Adonoy passed before him [Moses],

  218. 218

    and proclaimed:

  219. 219

    Adonoy, Adonoy,

  220. 220

    Almighty, Merciful, Gracious,

  221. 221

    Slow to Anger,

  222. 222

and Abundant in Kindness, and Truth.

  223. 223

    Keeper of kindness

  224. 224

    for thousands of generations,

  225. 225

    Endurer of iniquity, and transgression,

  226. 226

    וְחַטָּאָה

    and sin;

  227. 227

and Acquitter of those who repent.

  228. 228

“And pardon our iniquity and our sin,

  229. 229

and take us for Your inheritance.”

  230. 230

Pardon us our Father, for we have sinned,

  231. 231

forgive us our King, for we have transgressed.

  232. 232

    “For You, my Master,

  233. 233

    are good and forgiving,

  234. 234

    and abounding in kindness

  235. 235

to all who call upon You.”

  236. 236

Do not enter into judgment with us,

  237. 237

for no living being will be justified before You.

  238. 238

And now our Master, the King,

  239. 239

the eyes of all Israel are on You.

  240. 240

Adonoy is King, Adonoy was King,

  241. 241

Adonoy will be King forever and ever.

  242. 242

You are our King from of old,

  243. 243

You effect deliverances in the midst of the earth.

  244. 244

    You are our King, God,

  245. 245

    command the deliverance of Jacob.

  246. 246

And it will be on that day,

  247. 247

    that Adonoy will be King

  248. 248

    over the whole earth,

  249. 249

    on that day

  250. 250

    Adonoy will be One

  251. 251

    and His Name One.

  252. 252

As a father has compassion on his children

  253. 253

so do You have compassion on us, Adonoy.

  254. 254

    לַיהֹוָה הַיְשׁוּעָה,

    Deliverance is Adonoy’s;

  255. 255

upon Your people is Your blessing. Selah!

  256. 256

Adonoy of Hosts is with us,

  257. 257

a stronghold for us is the God of Jacob. Selah!

  258. 258

    Adonoy of Hosts!

  259. 259

fortunate is the man who trusts in You.

  260. 260

    יְהֹוָה הוֹשִֽׁיעָה,

    Adonoy, deliver us;

  261. 261

the King will answer us on the day we call.

  262. 262

“Please pardon the sins of this nation

  263. 263

    in accordance with the greatness

  264. 264

    חַסְדֶּֽךָ.

    of Your lovingkindness;

  265. 265

and as You forgave this people

  266. 266

from when it left Egypt until now.”

  267. 267

    And there it is said:

  268. 268

    “And Adonoy said,

  269. 269

I have pardoned [them] as you have asked.”

  270. 270

Incline Your ear, my God, and hear,

  271. 271

open Your eyes and behold our desolate places,

  272. 272

    וְהָעִיר אֲשֶׁר נִקְרָא שִׁמְךָ עָלֶֽיהָ

    and the city which is called by Your Name;

  273. 273

for it is not on account of our righteousness

  274. 274

that we let fall our supplication before You,

  275. 275

but because of Your great mercy.

  276. 276

My Master, hear! My Master, pardon!

  277. 277

My Master, listen and take action,

  278. 278

    do not delay!

  279. 279

    For Your sake, my God,

  280. 280

    because Your Name is proclaimed

  281. 281

over Your city and over Your people.
