וְיֶתֶר הַשְּׁבָטִים מִפְּאַת קָדִימָה עַד פְּאַת יָמָּה בִּנְיָמִן [וְגוֹ'] שִׁמְעוֹן [וְגוֹ'] יִשָּׂשכָר [וְגוֹ'] זְבוּלֻן [וְגוֹ'] גָּד [וְגוֹ'] (יחזקאל מח, כג-כז). אֵלּוּ, הֵם לִדְרוֹםאבתחלת הספר התחיל בחלוקת השבעה חלקים לשבעה שבטים אשר מצפון א"י עד לחלק התרומה הגדולה שבה העיר והמקדש. ופירט כל מדות וצורת בנינם, וכעת ממשיך רבינו לפרט חלוקת חמשת החלקים מהתרומה הגדולה לכיוון דרום לחמשת השבטים הנותרים. הַתְּרוּמָה הַגְּדוֹלָה.
“[The portions of] the remaining tribes: From the eastern edge to the western edge, Benyamin…, Shimon…, Yissachar…, Zevulun…, Gad.”1Yechezkel 48:23-27. In the preface, Tosafos Yom Tov had mentioned the seven tribes that will be given a portion to the north of the Terumah. Here, he mentions those whose portion will be to the south of it. These tribes were given their portions south of the Great Terumah.
