BROKEN HEART AS THE KEY TO RENEWAL: If you feel broken-hearted deep inside and it is as though your heart and your spirit have already become softened and sensitized to [that state of misery, do not act as though you’ve attained your permanent state, then] you should act with quickness, though, before the feeling passes because [this is precisely] the right moment to penetrate your heart. And, in so doing, begin excavating the hardened landscape [of your inner soul]. Cast out all [the toxic poison] that has nestled inside your soul by [having the courage and alacrity to truly] evaluate your [spiritual] errancy without the kind of self-deception [that will only distract you from this goal, thus exacerbating the entropy of your soul into malignancy]. Act quickly, for even though now you feel yourself open to the surrendering energy of re/turning, this may [in truth] only be a kind of wish-fulfillment in response to remorse over some missed honor or some other frustrated fantasy. And, indeed, even though you yourself may not be at all conscious of this frustrated fantasy, you can still never be certain that, as soon as your fantasy is fulfilled, your broken-open heart will not revert back to [its previous state when it was as cold as a] stone, impervious and closed to every possibility [of spiritual advancement]. While you may still long to heal your broken heart, alas, O how can you [enable such healing] when you remain so detached] still hovering on the outside of a heart over which you have no control?
