1שָׁמַעְתִּי בִּשְׁמוֹ שֶׁאָמַר: כְּשֶׁמְּקֹרָבִים לְצַדִּיק הָאֱמֶת, טוֹעֲמִים טַעַם גַּן עֵדֶן. כִּי אִיתָא בַּזֹּהַר הַקָּדוֹשׁ (ב קסו:) שֶׁהַצַּדִּיק הוּא גַּנָּנָא דְּגִינְתָא.The Rebbe once said that when people come close to a true tzaddik, they have a taste of the Garden of Eden. The holy Zohar says, “The tzaddik is the Gardener of the Garden” (Zohar II, 166b).
