And you shall make upright beams for the tabernacle out of acacia wood. (ibid. 26:15) In order to understand how this applies to all times,4The Baal Shem Tov taught that every passage of the Torah is eternal, and applies to all people at all times. briefly, “beams” (keresh) refers to the human being.5On the verse: “Ten cubits shall be the length of a beam” (Exodus 26:16), the Tikunei Zohar states (p. 65a): “Ten cubits is the length of a man.” This refers to the spiritual structure of a human being, which corresponds to the ten Sefiros.
