    שמעתי ממורי, כל אשר תמצא ידך לעשות בכחך עשה (קהלת ט׳:י׳) להעלות אנשי עשייה אל המחשבה, שנקרא יוד אותיות ידו, והיינו על ידי הדעת שהוא בחינת יוסף כנודע כו':

    Whatever your hand can do by your strength, do… (Ecclesiastes 9:10)
    That is, in order to uplift people on [the level of] Assiyah11The lowest of the spiritual worlds. to [the level of] thought, which is known by the letter yud,12As the first letter of the Tetragrammaton, the letter yud represents the world of thought; i.e. the beginning of creation. The letter hey, as the last letter of the Tetragrammaton, corresponds to Malchus and the world of Asiyah. that also spells out the word yado – “his hand” (יוד – ידו). This is by means of Da'as, which is the aspect of Yosef, as is known.
