I heard from my Master how to uplift the inner part of foreign thoughts and fix them, and how to remove the external part. Also, that if you do not know how to do this with a specific thought, you should at least keep in mind that within each thing exists a union between the names Y-H-V-H and Adnus. Along these lines, I also heard from him the mystical meaning of the “spear.”89This concept will be explained in parashas Balak. Tzafnah Paneach, p. 86b
