Regarding the scalding of poultry in boiling water, without first salting anything but the slit throat. There are those who allow pouring boiling water on them, while others hold that the boiling water has to be in a vessel in which the bird is scalded1On the distinction between pouring boiling water and soaking, see the opinions of Rashbam and Rabbeinu Tam cited in Tosafot on Zevachim 95b:4 . They do not mention, however, only salting the throat.. I asked [in my dream] if there is permission to act in this [first] way, or whether it absolutely forbidden because of the blood that is absorbed in the flesh and is not released in subsequent salting.

והשיבו בני אל תלך בדרך אתם, כי כל עון נאלח, וזה עון פלילי:
