Regarding the taking of Hallah on a holiday, I usually take Hallah and recite the required blessing whenever one of the following dwells in our town: a young "priest" who has not yet experienced pollution, a "priest" who immersed himself in a ritual bath after pollution, or a "priest" who could neutralize said Hallah through mixing it with a greater volume of ordinary bread.
