Teshuvot Maharam · Cremona Edition, Chapter 176

‹›
  1. 1

    Q. B gave one mina to A's wife, for investment purposes. Since a husband is reluctant to have his wife degraded by appearing in court, is B permitted to summon her to court? Furthermore, since any profit earned by a wife belongs to her husband, may A demand the profit his wife earned with this mina?
    A. A's wife may send her representative to court in her stead. A is entitled to the profit earned by his wife.
