תשמז. מעשה היה שנתן אחד לחבירו חפץ להוליכו לקלוניא' למכור והלך למקום אח והיו מלינים על זה שמכר החפץ יותר ביוקר ממה שהודה ואמר בעל החפץ כך וכך אמר לי שלקחת יותר ממה שהודית לי ואותו השיב עשה שבועה שלקחתי יותר והטיל השבועה על המוכר שיעשה שבועה שלא לקח יותר שאותו לא יכול לשבע שלא הי' יודע היאך מכרו זה ולא הי' שם וכן הורה הר"ם.
Q. A gave B an object to sell in Cologne; B sold it elsewhere. It was rumored that B received for it more than what he disclosed to A. Thereupon A told B of the rumor; then B demanded that A take an oath in support of his charge that he, B, had obtained more money for the object than he admitted to A. A.
