ואמר החכם לבנו חפצת לנצוח אדם רע? אמר לו כן. אמר לו אל תנצחנו עד שתהיה רע ממנו:
644. The sage asked his son, Didst thou ever attempt to vanquish the wicked? Yes, said he. To which the father replied, Attempt it not, for thou wilt succeed only by becoming viler than he.
