(דברים יט ח) וְאִם יַרְחִיב ה׳ אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֶת גְּבוּלְךָ, עֲשֵׂה מִצְוָה הָאֲמוּרָה בָּעִנְיָן, שֶׁבִּשְׂכָרָהּ יַרְחִיב ה׳ אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֶת גְּבוּלְךָ.

1. “If HASHEM your God will expand your border” (Dt.19:8).
Perform the commandment stated in this scriptural context,
in reward for which,
“HASHEM your God will expand your border”²³⁵Cf. Pisqa’ot 156.1, 162.1, 170.1, 174.1, 297. (Dt.19:8).

כַּאֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע לַאֲבֹתֶיךָ – הַכֹּל בִּזְכוּת אֲבוֹתֶיךָ.

“As He swore to you” (Dt.19:8)—
all as a reward for the virtues of your Patriarchs.

וְנָתַן לְךָ אֶת כָּל הָאָרֶץ – הַכֹּל בִּזְכוּת אֲבוֹתֶיךָ.

“And he will give you all the Land” (Dt.19:8).
