That the nazirite not eat damp grapes: That the nazirite not eat damp (fresh) grapes, as it is stated (Numbers 6:3), “and damp, etc. grapes shall he not eat.” And they, may their memory be blessed, said in Tractate Nazir 35b, “‘And damp [etc.] grapes, shall he not eat’ [is to include] unripe fruit (boser).” The entire content of this commandment is [found] in the commandment before it (Sefer HaChinukh 368).
שֶׁלֹּא יֹאכַל הַנָּזִיר עֲנָבִים לַחִים – שֶׁלֹּא יֹאכַל הַנָּזִיר עֲנָבִים לַחִים, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (במדבר ו ג) וַעֲנָבִים לַחִים וְגוֹ' לֹא יֵאָכֵל. וְאָמְרוּ זִכְרוֹנָם לִבְרָכָה בְּמַסֶּכֶת נָזִיר (לה ב) וַעֲנָבִים לַחִים לֹא יֹאכֵל לְהָבִיא אֶת הַבֹּסֶר. כָּל עִנְיַן מִצְוָה זוֹ בַּמִּצְוָה הַקּוֹדֶמֶת לָהּ.

וּמִשָּׁרְשֵׁי עִנְיַן הַנְּזִירוּת אֶכְתֹּב לְמַטָּה בְּמִצְוַת גִּדּוּל שְׂעַר נָזִיר (מצוה שעד).
