As morning approaches on Chag Ha'Shavous, after all the learning, close to the Daybreak, they should pray this prayer:

רבש״ע מודים אנחנו לך על חסדיך הרבים אשר עשית עמנו ועם אבותינו והיום הזה קרבתנו לפני הר סיני ובחרת בנו מכל העמים ורצית בנו ונתת לנו תורתך הקדושה על ידי נאמן ביתך משה רעיא מהימנא. מה אנו ומה חיינו כי עשית עמנו חסדים גדולים ורבים כאלה ואלו פינו מלא שירה כים אין אנו מספיקים להודות לך על אחד מאלפי רבבות חסדיך הרבים והעצומים בכלל ופרט ועל אשר זכיתנו בתורתך הקדושה ועל כלם יתברך ויתרומם ויתנשא תמיד שמך לעד וכל החיים יודך סלה:
Source of all worlds: We give thanks to You for the many acts of love and care You have shown us and our ancestors, and on this day You brought us close to you at Mount Sinai. You turned toward us with love and gave us Your holy Torah through Moshe the Faithful Shepherd, the faithful one of Your house. What are we? What are our lives? And yet You have done for us such great and abundant kindness. Even if our mouths were filled with song like the sea, we could not offer enough thanks for even one part of the countless acts of love, vast and intimate, that You have poured into our lives. And above all, for the gift of Your holy Torah. For all of this, may Your name be blessed, lifted, and exalted always and forever; may all that lives give thanks to You, Selah.

And now, on this night, we have read from Your holy Torah: from Torah, Prophets, and Writings, and from the Holy Zohar. We have done this to help restore their roots in the worlds above, to bring delight and to join the beloveds together. In Your goodness, have compassion on us, and receive our learning with favor. Through the power of Your Holy Torah, let a flow of deliverance and compassion come to us, and save us from the harmful impulses that pull us away from our truest selves. Fulfill for us what You promised through Your servants, Our Sages: One who comes seeking purification is helped along the way. (Hashem says:) Open for Me an opening as narrow as the point of a needle, and I will open for you an entrance as wide as the Great Hall. Please, Eternal One, have tenderness and compassion for us. May the sparks of awakening in our hearts — our love for You and for Your Torah — remain alive in us and continue to grow. Help us, Source of our deliverance, for the sake of Your glorious name. Strengthen us and give us courage in the study of Your holy Torah. Help us engage Torah for its own sake: we, our children, and the generations that come from us, in holiness and purity. May we be worthy of the forty-eight qualities through which Torah is acquired. Give us the strength to act with courage and integrity. Help us move away from arrogance, anger, and harshness. Help us recognize the smallness of our own measure, and let our souls be humble and open before all. Help us stay far from harmful speech, from flattery and cynicism, from falsehood, deception, and every forbidden word. Help us move away from anxiety, despair, and heaviness of spirit. Let us be joyful in our service and in our awe. And may we complete the healing and repair of nefesh, ruach, and neshamah (body-soul, spirit, and breath of life) in this lifetime.

ויהר״מ יהוה א״וא אב הרחמים אדון הסליחות שאם נגזר עלינו ח״ו להכרת כהכרת רשעים יכבשו רחמיך את כעסך ויגולו רחמיך עלינו שיהא חשוב צערנו שנצטערנו הלילה הזו וקמטנו שינה מעינינו לקרוע רוע גזר דינינו (יכוין בשם קרע שטן) ונהר יוצק יסודנו אני בצדק אחזה פניך אשבעה בהקיץ תמונתך. ותחוס ותרחם עלינו ואל תכריתנו לא כרת דיומי ולא כרת דשני ולא תכרת נפשנו מלהעלות מ״ן למעלה ולא תכרת נפשנו מלהזדווג בבת זוגה בעולם הנשמות כהכרת רשעים ח״ו ותשפיע עלינו הוד ישועה ורחמים מכתר עליון להציל ממות נפשנו ולהחיותנו חיים ארוכים דשנים ורעננים לעבודתך ותזכנו למקום שהרוחות והנשמות נחצבות משם ונזכה להיות מהעולים והזוכים לחיי הע״הב ובכח שמך הקדוש אאהלידה תבטל מעלינו ומעל כל בני ביתנו כל גזירות קשות ורעות ותשגיח עלינו בעין חמלתך שנאמר בו הנה לא ינום ולא יישן שומר ישראל. ויהיה הצער שנדרנו שינה מעינינו בלילה הזו לתקון מה שפגמנו בעיינין עילאין והרע בעיניך עשינו. ונפטר מלהתגלגל נפשנו בעוף הנקרא ראה בעון פגם הראות ופצנו והצילנו מעונש חיבוט הקבר מהמלאך אכזרי המשבר עיני הרשעים בקבר ובצער שנדדנו שינה מעינינו נפטר מאותו הצער ותנוח נפשנו במשכנות מבטחים:
May it be Your will, Eternal One, our Strength and the Strength of our ancestors, Compassionate Source, Mistress of Forgiveness: if, heaven forbid, any decree of spiritual severing has been drawn against us, let Your compassion overcome anger. Let Your compassion overflow toward us. May the discomfort we felt tonight — staying awake, keeping sleep from our eyes — be received as part of the work of tearing open any harsh decree against us. May the river of life pour into our foundation. “As for me, in righteousness I will behold Your face; when I awaken, I will be satisfied by Your image.” Have tenderness and compassion for us. Do not let us be cut off, not a cut in our days, and not cut in our years. Let a radiant flow of deliverance and compassion come upon us from the High Crown, saving our souls from death and bringing us into long, full, fresh, and flourishing lives of sacred service. Bring us close to the place from which spirits and souls are hewn. May we be among those who rise, and among those who are worthy of the life of the world to come. And through the power of Your holy name, A’ah’lida, may all harsh and harmful decrees be lifted from us and from all the members of our households. Watch over us with an eye of compassion, as it is said: “Behold, the Guardian of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.” May the ache of having kept sleep from our eyes tonight serve as repair for the ways we have caused harm, for the ways we have fallen short, and for the wrong we have done.

והנה התורה הקדושה שבה נתעסקנו הלילה הקדושה זו היא נפלאת והשמות הק׳ היוצאים מכל מה שקרינו המה ימליצו טוב בעדנו לקבלנו בתשובה ולקרוע רוע גזר דינינו ונפטר מכל צער וכל המקטריגים אשר נבראו בעונותינו ימחו בכח קדושת תורתך הקדושה. אנא הבט בעמלינו ואל תביט במעלינו ותבא לפניך שועתינו לב נשבר ונדכה אלהים לא תבזה ויצאו מים חיים מלובן העליון דרך רחובות הנהר לקו האמצעי נהר פלגיו ישמחו עיר אלהינו לטהרנו מכל פשעינו ואתה בטובך תעורר רחמיך ויפן מצחא דא״א רעוא דכל רעוון במצח ז״א ועינא דא״א בעינא דז״א ובכן יתבטלו כל הדינין והיו כלא היו. כי אתה חפץ בתשובת הרשעים חננו ועננו ושמע תפלתינו י״לר כו׳:
And now: the holy Torah in which we immersed ourselves on this holy night is wondrous. May the sacred names that emerge from all we have read speak goodness on our behalf. May they help receive us in teshuvah, in return and repair, and tear open any harsh decree against us. May we be released from every sorrow.

May all Accusers born from our mistakes and our wrongdoing be dissolved by the holiness of Your sacred Torah. Please, look upon our labor; do not look only upon our failings. Let our cry come before You. “A broken and humbled heart, O Divine, You will not reject.”

And You, in Your goodness, awaken Your compassion. May the Vast Face, the will beyond all wills, turn toward the Nearer Face. May the Eye of Expansiveness turn toward the Eye of Presence. And in that turning, may all harsh judgments be undone, as though they had never been.

For You desire the return of those who have done wrong. Be gracious to us. Answer us. Hear our prayer.
