And it is also forbidden to speak rechiluth by deceit. As when one knows that another had caused harm or shame to his friend in the past, and they had quarreled over this, and he now wants to stir up the old quarrel without his [the friend's] recognizing this [his intent to stir up the quarrel], he contrives with his "slippery lips" to remind him [the friend] of the harm or shame caused him by the other in the past, giving him the impression that he is talking quite innocently, not knowing who did this to him, whereby the friend remembers by himself who it was — all this, and all like it, is an absolute issur.
