1אָמַר: שֶׁמֵּעוֹלָם לֹא שָׁתָה אֲפִלּוּ מַיִם קֹדֶם הַתְּפִלָּה, וְהִקְפִּיד מְאֹד עַל אֵלּוּ הַשּׁוֹתִין קַאוֶוע [קפה] וְכַיּוֹצֵא בָּזֶה קֹדֶם הַתְּפִלָּה.The Rebbe said that he never as much as drank water before his morning prayers.
