There are afflictions that one suffers whose appointed time is determined by the astronomical factors that require those afflictions. However, the will and yearning aroused in the students at the time set for them to go and learn Torah from their teacher nullifies these afflictions before their appointed time.
א. יֵשׁ יִסּוּרִים הַבָּאִים עַל הָאָדָם וְנִקְבָּע לָהֶם זְמַן לְפִי חִיּוּב סִדּוּר הַכּוֹכָבִים, הַמְחַיְּבִים כָּל אֵלּוּ הַיִּסּוּרִים, אֲבָל עַל־יְדֵי הָרָצוֹן וְהַתַּאֲוָה שֶׁנִּתְעוֹרֵר אֵצֶל הַתַּלְמִידִים בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁהִגִּיעַ עִתָּם הַקָּבוּעַ לָהֶם לֵילֵךְ אֵצֶל הָרַב לִלְמד, עַל־יְדֵי זֶה נִתְבַּטְּלִים הַיִּסּוּרִים קדֶם הַזְּמַן הַקָּצוּב לָהֶם.
