מוֹעֲדֵי ה' – שָׁלֹשׁ רְגָלִים א. עַל־יְדֵי הַשִּׂמְחָה בְּשָׁלֹשׁ רְגָלִים זוֹכִין לְאוֹר הַפָּנִים. וְעַל־יְדֵי זֶה מְחַיִּין אֶת הַשֵּׂכֶל דִּקְדֻשָּׁה שֶׁעַל יָדוֹ בָּאִים לְהַשָּׂגוֹת אֱלֹקוּת: (לק"א סי' ל' אות א' ה')
FESTIVALS AND SEASONS OF THE YEAR: Pesach, Shavuoth, Succoth: The joy we have on the three major festivals can give us a share in the Inner Light of God. This brings new life to the soul and the mind, through which we gain our perception of God (30:6).
