בתפלה בלחש כשהוא מדבק עצמו למעלה אז זוכה ומעלין אותו יותר למעלה באותה תפלה כמו שאמרו רבותינו ז"ל (יומא דל"ח ע"ב) בא ליטהר מסייעין אותו, ועל ידי התפלה זו זוכה במחשבתו למעלה, ומכח זה יוכל לבא עוד למדרגה יותר גדולה אפילו שלא בשעת התפלה, שיהא דבוק למעלה: (צוואת הריב"ש ד"ד ע"ב)
In the silent prayer (the Amidah) when you attach yourself Above, you will merit to be lifted even higher during that prayer, as our Rabbis have said: “When one comes to purify himself, they help him.”89Yoma 38b. Through this prayer, you merit for your thoughts to cling Above, and with this power, you can come to an even greater level – to cleave to the Supernal World even outside the time of prayer.
