And you will eat and be satisfied, and bless the L‑rd your G‑d for the good land which He has given you. (Deuteronomy 8:10) The Tzaddik Reb Shlomo said in the name of the Baal Shem Tov that even if you have food on the table before you, if G‑d does not command it, you cannot eat it.
